IITA Delegation Visits ABUAD to Strengthen Decade-Long Research Partnership

A delegation from the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, recently paid a courtesy visit to the office of ABUAD’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Elisabeta Smaranda Olarinde, FCArb, FCAI. The visit was an occasion to reflect on a relationship that has deepened meaningfully over more than a decade.

The collaboration between ABUAD and IITA spans several years, anchored in shared commitments to biotechnology, research excellence, and innovation. Discussions during the visit focused on how the relationship could be further strengthened to deliver greater outcomes in biotechnology and research-driven innovation.

Also present were the Provost of the College of Science, Prof. Pius Okiki; the Director of Academic Planning, Prof. Ogunmodede Oluwafemi; and the Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Tunde Olofintila.
