Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) has significantly expanded its residential capacity with the completion and unveiling of a brand-new 525-bed student hostel. Completed in September 2025, the facility opens for the 2025/2026 academic session.
What the New Hostel Offers
The new hostel comprises 139 rooms, all equipped with modern amenities. For a university that has always placed emphasis on the overall student experience, this represents a meaningful enhancement to campus life.
Growing to Meet Demand
As ABUAD continues to attract students from across Nigeria and beyond, expanding residential infrastructure is a strategic necessity. The 525-bed addition increases the university’s ability to accommodate a growing student population while maintaining ABUAD’s standards.
A Broader Vision
The hostel completion is one part of a broader institutional story — a university that, sixteen years after its founding, continues to build, grow, and set higher standards for private university education in Nigeria.
